Well I recently took the plunge and put a deposit down on a Clark Rockford amplifier......by the way I'm glad I did as the price has already gone up SIGNIFICANTLY. I have been reading posts about Clark amplifiers for years and have been debating whether or not to buy an amp based solely on user reviews and the information posted on his website. Well, I guess I was conviced after reading so many positive reviews and comments about the quality of his products and the customer service he and Bob at Perfect Note provide.

In anycase, I'm waiting for my amp now and know I have to be patient since Clark products are built with a look to quality and not speedy mass production goals.

I'm sure you'll be happy with it. I have a Beaufort and a MTC-45 that nail their respective tones. Sure he nails blackface tone too. His build quality and attention to detail is top notch. But the bottom line is that they just have great tone!
Enjoy your amp and let us know about it.

I put a deposit down also!
If I had been a little slower it would cost me 1000$ more.

Hi Guys

Congratulations to you both on the Rockford Reverb. Michael Clark builds very toneful amps, I think you will be very impressed when you receive them.

It will be well worth the wait. I took a chance on Clark about five years ago and now own a Tyger, Belmont and Beaufort. I bought the Tyger twice because I lost the first one in a fire. There is no way to put into words how full of tone these amps are.

A word of advice, spend the $175 and get the regulator. My Belmont is rated at 35 watts and will compete with ANY twin!

I agree Mike's attentuator keeps the tone better than any I have used. I'd say get the reverb too! Just the most beautiful verb you have ever heard.
