Hello Michael! Congratulations on getting your own Specialty Shop on the TPN Forum. Certainly well deserved! And thanks for all the great amps you've built for me over the years.
Maybe you could start us all off with a little insight into how you go about building such fantastic sounding and incredilby crafted amps? Again, welcome! And enjoy your vacation!

Yes Congrats on your own Specialty Shop! Will be nice having you here!
Just want to let you know how much I like my MTC-45 I just got from you recently. Of course as soon as I got it my life had to go into hyper-drive and I haven't had much time to play it. Getting some playing time in now that things have slowed down though. I don't want to post much about the amp until I have lived with it awhile. Brian, Thanks very much for your kind comments. My philosophy on amp building is based on my goal of maximum attention to detail, my love for the golden era of electronics (20's to the 50's and the max overbuild of the manufacturers during those years), a desire to build something that will last through the decades, and an amp that is easy to service. I also play guitar and want to build amps that play back to me. The better I play the better it sounds. The downside to that is on those bad days you can't hide.
Norman, I want to also thank you for your support. I think that you will find with some time the 45 will open up to you and you will hear all those tones from those older R&R records you love. Regards, Michael Clark |
